Well, I think the subject line pretty much says it all. I have searched the FAQ and haven't found anything, so thought I'd post the question here.
Every now and then I come across an interesting post and would like to follow it. Is there some way I can subscribe to it, without having to post to the thread? Often that will discourage answers by making people think it has already been answered. And who wants to see a bunch of posts which effectively say "yeah, me too"?

However, I think a quick post explaining you are posting just to subscribe because you are interested in the result won't do any harm.

I've thought about it a couple of times, but would just prefer not to. Just based on my own fairly brief experience here, there are a couple of reasons: - I tend to look for threads with 0 replies first, to see whether I can help.
- When a reply turns up for a question I've posted, the natural assumption is "yippee, I've got an answer". When it turns out to be "yeah, I wondered about that, too" it's disappointing.
Of course, a lot of my responses have been along the lines of "give more info" but at least that is someone trying to help.

KUB is monitoring your other thread in this forum to keep an eye on bugs in the new release. It might be worth making a suggestion there.
