preventing browser back problem

Hi all ,
I have a requirment that page should expire if user clicks browser back button in the web application I am developing.
I tried to ensure this by using some meta tags like,

<META HTTP-EQUIV="CONTENT-TYPE" CONTENT="text/html">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="EXPIRES" CONTENT="NOW">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="EXPIRES" CONTENT="-1">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="PRAGMA" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="PRAGMA" CONTENT="NO-STORE">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-STORE">

from the sequence I think you can understand I have tried different permutation combinations on it. But nothing is working. :-(

Can you people help me out in this problem?

All I need is some way to show "your page has expired" when user clicks browser back button.

thanks in advance,
cheers,

Typically, users receive this message when the data genuinly has expired. Using post form method instead of get to go from page to page will achive this.
