IIS problem

Hi i cant able to start my iis since my default web site is in stopped condition.if i do,
right click -> start. then it shows an error that "the address already in use".
Am in trouble.. plz help me out..

hi/...
click iis and in that u have default webiste right ..
right click default website and clcik properties...
and a default website window opens in that u have home diretcory click that...then
under that u ahve application protection near to that u have an unload button click that button and press ok..
then refrech ur page and run it..

Hi i tried but the unload button which u said was in disabled already.. how can i proceed????? plz help me..

ok try this one...


locate ur asp files folder...where u stored ur asp files..
adn right clik that folder and in that select properties and a property window opens..
in that clik sharing and under u have netwrok sharing and security in that
enable the first checkbox(share this folder on the netwrok) ...
and in property window u have web sharing click that and under that u have 2 options
1.do not share
2 share this folder
u enable 2 option and click add it will ask for some name type some name

and come out of it..
then in explorer type the path with the name u specified there...


for ex..

if u have asp files in a folder named sample..
the do all the above process and give name as sample1 there..

and in explorer type as http://localhost/sample1/home.asp

it will work i think so...

try this...
