Hiding Windows button from taskbar

I will start with an example. Suppose I have 3 applications. First is Windows application(C#). Other two applications are also windows application but in VC++ or VB. Suppose my first application is running and I want to invoke the 2nd aplplication from my first one. How to restrict the second application from being shown in the taskbar? I think it can be done using Win32 API but how to do I don't know.

It's vey urgent.Waiting for your feedback.
