Can't find domain on local web server

I'm proboly overlooking something simple here but this is my problem... I have a web server set up every thing works fine when looking in from the internet but when I try to access my site by the domain name from my local network it give me an action cancelled on the web browser. Keep in mind that if I use the server name "http://servername" for example i can get the server and see the site but if i use my domain "http://66599.net" it will not show...any suggestions?

Have you messed with your hosts file on your local machine?

I would double check that.

Try it by IP address

You won't be able to find your domain with http://mydomain.com you will have to go to http://www.mydomain.com if you are trying to access internally.
