is it possible to compare acomma separated list aginst another eg comma list 1 => 1,2,3,4,5 comma list 2 => 3,5 can you check that 3 is in both, and 5 is in both, therfore they match??? the comparison is to check that if product a who supplies products 1,2,3,4,5 can be used instead of product b who supplies 3,5 as product a already supplies them

Hi! I have written a little class in .NET to convert a DataTable or a dataView to a comma-delimited text file. This file eventually gets imported in Excel or Word. Everything works great, I handled commas and quotes and Excel reads my files correctly. I have one little problem, though... If a field in the datatable has a carriage return in it, it gets written to the text file (of course) and Excel things it's the start of a new record.

I am writing a console app in c# wherein am converting a dataset into a CSV file. It works fine. But I have some values in the dataset which have a comma within(eg. A,B,C). When I view the CSV file in Excel, the multiple values which are separated by the 'comma' in the dataset are being displayed in the next column , which I dont want that way. I want to retain any commas which are present in my dataset. How do I handle such a scenario? ...

Access 2K, SP3 on Windows 2K, SP4 All, I have an import spec set up with quoted Identifiers and comma-separated values. The text file is produced by a 3rd-party program of which I have no control. It outputs all text fields surrounded by quotes, and all numeric fields w/o quotes. All fields are separated with commas. This has been working for 2 years, until today, when one of the data fields

I am kind of puzzled with this problem. I am trying to open an xls file from C# and then save it as text or comma delimited. Here is the code: Excel.ApplicationClass oExcelApp = new Excel.ApplicationClass(); Object oMissing = System.Reflection.Missing.Value; Excel.Workbook oWB = oExcelApp.Workbooks.Open(sFileName, oMissing, oMissing,oMissing, oMissing,oMissing, oMissing, oMissing, oMissing,oMissing,oMissing, oMissing, oMissing); object...

Hi everyone, I am on a project here in Germany and am having a tricky problem with decimal points which in Germany (and most other European countries) are represented by a comma instead. My XSLT transforms seem to work only with a point which isn't such a problem: I just tell the users that the 'point is the comma'. However as soon as we start transferring data (e.g. into Excel), the 'decimal points' confuse Excel which is set to expect...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
