datagrid addItemAt will not work as I would like

Hi Everyone,

Thanks as usual for your help.

I am trying to reload a datagrid of 25 items at a time, but each time I reload it

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.              my_dg.dataProvider = myArray2;
  2.              my_dg.rowCount = '20';
  3.
The data populates exactly 25 rows down from the previous position of the past 25 rows and I would like it to appear at the top of the datagrid or the first row of the datagrid.

I have tried:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.              my_dg.dataProvider = myArray2;
  2.              my_dg.rowCount = '20';
  3.                          my_dg.addItemAt(0, myArray2);
  4.
  5. and
  6.
  7.              var myObj:Object = myArray2;
  8.              my_dg.addItemAt(0, myObj);
  9.
  10.
But it hasn't worked. Do I need to make the array into an object? If so, then how?

I think the solution is in creating some kind of nested for loop and using myArray2 to add items column by column and row by row, which I think an 11 column, 25 row gird would take a long time to process.

Thanks in advance,
Tarik (Tah-Rick)
