Flash menu not working immediately, the area needs to be clicked first ?

Hi

I have created several menus and animations in Flash over the years, but now when I publish them to the web it seems that the Flash area stalls and needs to be clicked before the menu or animation will functure/play properly.

Anyone have any ideas why?

I would really appreciate to help.

thanks

This is because of an anti-trust lawsuit against Microsoft. I'm assuming you're using MS Internet Explorer, and that's why you're getting the little bounding box thing. There is a javascript that will prevent that from happening - I suggest reading this article from Adobe which describes the changes/problem you are having in more detail and gives you sample javascript files to embed flash in IE without the bounding box issue.

The newer versions of flash will create a .js file and incorporate the javascript in the html that is created when you publish.
