video FLV and cue point syncing question

I have a FLV set up with cue points that link to graphic files in my flash document. The FLV is imported into flash 8, and cue points are set upon import to jump to specific frame labels in my timeline.

The graphics sync correctly while playing/ all seems to be working well, but when i pause the video, or jump ahead/back in time, the graphics do not respond as though they are syncing to the video anymore, they just continue forward regardless of where i jump to using the standard video controller/skin.

is there a special piece of code that i can use that will sync the graphics up to what i'm doing with the controller (pause, scrub, play)?

thanks very much

If you build your FLV controls yourself, you should be able to assign extra functions to them so that they pause your graphics as well as your video.
