how can you load jpg before flv with html

I want to display a jpg for 3 seconds before the flv starts playing.
How can I change the jpg via html?

I don't think there is away.
I would add the 3 sec jpeg to your flv.
Have your 3 sec jpeg on the first scene and your flv on the next scene.

this is actually possible with javascript timing

this would be some what difficult for a javascript beginner, but not impossible

use onload() for the jpg image then do some other stuff that will get your desired result

maybe someone in the javascript forum might be willing to help
