Adobe Illustrator (CS) files which will not die.

P: 1
Have completed a logo project with AI and now--after I've burned to disk for the client and another for back-up--I have a mass of files for which I have no use. They simply refuse to go away (cannot move, nor delete). I keep getting this message re: files not being deletable while they're still in use. Balderdash. I am not in the application. For god's sake, do I have to uninstall AI to rid myself of these little demons?..or reformat my HD? Sheesh!!

Rebooting did not do the trick. I have heard of a utility called "MoveOnboot," but reputedly this works only for OSs prior to VISTA. This is just nutty. THANKS.
