Jasc refuses to type JP fonts, MS office word JP also won't

Two days ago, MS office Word would type JP fonts, I thought. I didn't think I was using Works. Now, it won't type in JP. Jasc Paint shop pro 8, should type JP fonts because I am using XP, according to Corel's website, and Jasc uses whatever is in the XP font folder. But, it won't. All the JP fonts types as English, even with JP selected in the Language Bar. I can't afford to upgrade to any better paint program. I do have a free JP word processor. Copy/Paste won't work in Jasc either because they are fools who refuse to allow copy/paste between programs!

I DID download and installed JP language pack from MS. I don't know which keyboard to use. I've tried JP, US, MS IME standard version 8.1 and nothing works.

What I am trying to do , is make Hiragana and Katakana memory cards without cutting, copying and pasting images that someone else has made, as that should violate copyright laws. Plus, I need the images larger then 12 px. The only font that works in Jasc paint shop pro doesn't even have all the characters for Katakana or Hiragana! I've been trying for several hours (10) to find any font that would work that is complete. Unicode fonts don't seem to work in Jasc. And, '97 fonts won't work in XP. Nothing Breen didn't have a font that would work either! The only thing I found was more fonts that won't work, and one site thats a virus. I didn't get one as I closed down FF right away. (I also scanned my laptop to be sure).

Any suggestions as to what I can do, or am doing wrong is greatly appreciated. I know I installed the fonts properly, however, beyond that, anything is possible.
Thanks!

ps. How should my language bar be configured for JP fonts to type in JP and not English? Thanks!

Obviously, no one has a clue. LOL Why am I not surprised? Actually, I'm going to find me a Japanese language learning forum and post this question over there. However, I did find a 'solution' of sorts. I'm doing screen captures of someone else's work, and then cutting and pasting. They are using the same fonts I have. Its just that those fonts don't work inside JASC.

The programmers solution so that others hard work isn't used:
Write the hiragana needed in office works, and then add the html needed. Using PRE would probably be the best, then upload it to site. View page, print screen and then copy and paste. Neither solution is quick.

Just in case anyone needs this info, this site,
XP JP Input has the answers.

What I was doing wrong was forgetting to change the language bars "A..." section (when in full mode) from (D), direct input, to (H), Hiragana. Thus, it would always type everything in English.

Obviously, its not my site, but it does have lots of pictures and I've found it very useful.
