A Java game Runescape crashes with these error messages

Hello everyone, first time poster here, bear with me.

RuneScape is an online multiplayer game run by Java
www.runescape.com
. The game itself is run on the website and when you play the game for the first time, its files store on your pc. I've never had a problem untill its makers switched to Java Se (SUN Java). Normally, when you move to a new location / area in this game it brings up these words loading-please wait... and within 2 seconds you're in a new location. But for me after it has to load the new area the game itself crashes and sends me to another website (just a default website saying error game crash). And sometimes when i minimise/maximise the game window/website the graphics and picture spread out all over the place and the toolbar and start button on the bottom of the screen become white.

Here are some JavaScript console errors and a notepad error that comes up on the desktop:

Notepad error:

# An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine:
# Internal Error (53484152454432554E54494D450E43505001A3), pid=-1414331, tid=4293396101
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_09-b03 mixed mode)

The notepad error message is kind of long so i just posted its topic cause i dont know the text limit on this post.

JavaScript console errors:

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "JavaScript Array does not have as many elements as indicated by size argument arg 1 [nsIStringBundle.formatStringFromName]" nsresult: "0x80570024 (NS_ERROR_XPC_NOT_ENOUGH_ELEMENTS_IN_ARRAY)" location: "JS frame :: XStringBundle :: getFormattedString :: line 33" data: no]

I cleared the JavaScript console errors before i started posting this thread so thats the only one that was left in there, they keep adding up on the console.

Hope anyone has any can help ive had this problem for over 6 months.

Did you try to get help at the runscape site then. If the errror is caused by their code then it will not be possible for anyone here to correct that. I suggest that you contact the authors themselves and tell them your problem.

You could try here

Well that doesn't look too good then. Unfortunately I do not see how we can assist here as well.

You said the problem starts when you move to a new location?

Yes, as in when the game loads a new area, like in video games when you enter a new level and it has to load. In this game the world around you loads in parts, like you move to a sertain location ( example: walk from a house to a tree, and after the tree the background is black, if you move near/ passed it it has to load the area), like a small square snapshot of a larger map. Hard to explain, like looking through a hole on a paper and viewing a picture through the hole.

EDIT:
And also the graphics spread out on the screen like in larger pixels, could it be that the new Java, SUN Java SE might not work on windows 98 SE?

I think I get the picture. Are you sure the version of the game allows you to get to this next level(Some shareware stuff allows you only one level only and tell you to pay for the next level)

Another possibility could be graphics on your computer. Did you check the minimum requirements for this game against your system specifications?

No, its not like that, its not a demo version. As i posted on the first thread, i never had a problem before its makers switched to the latest Java, SUN Java SE.

And yes, the minimum specification to play this game is 64mb of RAM, my pc has 128mb of ram.

Probably not, this is a software development forum. We can't fix the bug that is from their system.

No. If it has anything to do with Java it would be that the code they wrote for the game is faulty and we cannot fix that here, we do not have that code. I seriously do not think that is the problem. You should try to get help from the people that created the game.

Thank you for that information. I'll book mark this for all others who post here wondering why they can't connect. Most assume it's a problem on their end.

Thanks, again.
