How to know the subsystem of a DB2 table

Hi,
Can someone advise if there is a way to know the subsystem of where a Cobol program is running? If there a command/utility for this that can be used in Cobol program?
I would need to check if a DB2 CONNECT before is necessary prior calling a stored procedure whose database can be from a different subsystems.

Thanks in advance.
