'hash index' in DB2 V10.

Hi All,
Could anyone please explain me about 'hash index' in DB2 V10 with the examples.Any amerials or materilas can be shared with me will be highly appreciated.

Also, someone has expalined abot this like"V10 introduces ‘Hash’ indexes which will incur only a single I/O to get to the DB2 data row (i.e. very fast access). The requirements are that the ‘Hash’ index be unique and that SELECT SQL using the index specify all of the index keys in the WHERE clause using the ‘=’ predicate."
Not clear with the baove...Please help me to understand this concept.
Thanks a lot in advance!!!
