DB2 federation problem when reconnecting to a remote federated AS/400

My Windows DB2 Server 9.x is connected, via federation, to a remote AS/
400 system:
I created several nicknames to remote tables and I can query them.

Problem is, during the night, my remote AS/400 is rebooted and DB2
Server cannot connect back to it.

Is there any DB2 parameter I must set to reconnect automatically to
the remote federated AS/400.

Thanks

1) Is the AS/400 really being rebooted every night? If so, I would ask the
owner why they're doing that.

2) Ask the AS/400 owner if they can run this command: CHGDMMTCPA AUTOSTART(YES)
This will cause the server job that supports the DB2 Federation Connection to be
started each time that TCP/IP is started on the AS/400.
