connecting servers for playing with HADR

Hello.
we're trying out HADR on version 9, and have a primary and secondary
db on
servers 1 + 2 on the network. Transfer + communication is very slow
between
the servers, and I was wondering, can I link them using a USB cable?
If so, how would I change the configuration of the dbs to reflect the
changed
access path?
TIA,

HADR requires a tcpip connection. So, unless you have some software
that allows your USB ports to look like a network card on your server,
the answer is probably no.

FireWire, on the other hand, can certainly do this ;-)
