SQL1220N after Installation 9.5

Hi guys, i have also searched for this error and could find some
replies to this problem but none o them worked.

actually I am getting this:
SQL1220N The database manager shared memory set cannot be allocated.

i have installed IBM DB2 Express C 9.5 on my debian, right after the
installation i am trying to start the database but i got the above
error.
I also am not able to find this file :

db2cc

when i enter this command: db2cc

it says there is no such file or directory

I have re -installed thousands of times but I still get the same
error. I do not know what to do really, I need to install my db2 very
soon.

would youmind tell me some solutions ? really appreciate you.

I'm seeing the same thing with Express-C 9.5, but with RHEL 5.1 (x86_64),
although I think I'm not experiencing it as often as it sounds that you
are.

My working theory is that it's a combination of wrongly calibrated
automatic memory limits in DB2 and/or the my Linux has wrong (too
optimistic) upper limits on shared memory usage. I expect to get more
clues within the next couple of weeks, but I would certainly like to hear
from others who might have found some guidelines to avoid the SQL1220N
error.
