HOW TO COMMENT OUT BLOCKS OF CODE IN IBM DB2 Control Center console

How do I comment out blocks of code IN IBM DB2 Control Center console?
The only thing that works is double hyphens "--". I tried using "/**/"
but that produces a syntax error.

Thanks
