Do you need to recompile user exit

Dear Group,

we are migrating V8.2 instances to V9.5 and try to map everything
thats needed. Does anybody know
if userexit program needs to be recompile in V9.5 for it to be
effective ? We use the exit to archive logs
to backup server.

>Yes I have cloned the sample C userexit program from sqllib and used
it to send archived logs to backup server. I would rather not have to
do it. How do I replace that function is what I am asking for.
db2 update db2 cfg for sample using LOGARCHMETH1 DISK:/your/path/here

LOGARCHMETH2 is for archiving dual logs

Set the user exit parm to OFF.
