Need to extract numbers from a varchar column

1
Hi

I have a varchar column containing a list of numbers separated by commas.

eg ColName Type Data
NumberList Varchar(50) 15,1,14,13

What I need to do is to check that the column does not contain any number less than 1 or greater than 15.

Probably I can rite a function but that will be damn inefficient

Please recommend if there is a better way of doing this.

Even if a function is ritten any tips on how to keep it efficient
