Another DB2 Certification Question

Does anyone know where I could get my hands on one or more old DB2
certification exams? I'm especially interested in Exams 700 and 701 but
would like to look at others as well.

There are links for sample exams at the IBM website but they don't actually
take you to sample exams; they just infer that you need to go the Prometric
site but I don't see any sample exams there.

I would dearly love to see some sample exams so that I can get a feel for
how hard or easy they are and how much preparation I will need to do for
them.

The exams are given online, so you cannot get a copy of the real exams.
However, the sample tests usually have the same or very similar questions as
the real exam (although not as many). Spend the money and take the sample
exams as many times as you can.

For Exam 701, you can access the sample exams here:

I have to spend $10 (US presumably) each time I want to look at the sample
questions? Ouch! I had hoped that I could get some kind of sampling for
free. The tests are pretty pricey already - I'll be paying for them out of
my own pocket - so it seems excessive to charge even to see a few sample
questions!

Well, thanks for filling me in, even if it wasn't the news I wanted to hear!

You can believe me, or not believe me, but I am telling you the $10 for the
sample exams is a bargain. Considering the exams cost $150, I think spending
another $10-$30 to take the sample exams is a good investment because of the
similarity of the questions on the sample exam with the real exam.

Oh, I believe you. It just strikes me as chintzy to charge that much for the
exam, then force you to pay extra to look at sample exams. I guess I'm
old-fashioned that way.

So, do you just get to see the sample exams online? Is there any way to save
them so that you can review them at your leisure? Is there a time limit on
how long you can look at the sample exam? For example, does $10 just get you
10 minutes of viewing time or something like that? Do the sample exams get
graded so that you can find out how you did?

The sample exams are taken online. It has been awhile since I took a sample
exam, but I believe you can still copy and paste the questions into Word as
you go through them. There is a time limit and they give you your score, but
they do not tell you exactly which questions you missed (just like the real
exam).
