Problems with DB2 after Fikpax update (SQL30080N)

P: 4
Hi all

I recently updated my DB2 Enterprise Server from fixpak 3 to fixpak 4.
Everything seemed to go smoothly, but a few hours after the update, I found out that I could no longer connect to our remote servers through Nicknames.

I'm getting the following error whenever I try and open any of the Nickname tables:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL30080N A communication error "DRDA
  2. wrapper: 30081" occurred sending or receiving data from the
  3. remote database. SQLSTATE=08001
  4.
  5. The local server is a Windows server (DB2/UDB 9.1) and I'm connecting to DB2/ZOS 8 and DB2/UDB 8.2 servers
.

I hope you can shed some light on this

Thanks
Jimmi

Figured it out myself, never let anyone near your server,
especially not if they're gonna mess with the firewall settings :-/
