value added activities done by DB2 DBA

Hi guys..
apart from the day-to-day monitoring, administring and perf tuning
activities, what are all the value added things than can be done by a
DB2 DBA?

Make coffee for his app developers...? Sorry, couldn't resist.... ;-)
Do you have anything specific in mind? Bored? Are you looking to write a
job-offer or answer to one...?

Cheers

The primary value added ability of DB2 DBA is the ability to down six
pints and still type 'db2exfmt -d mt80db -e varsin -gI -o expln.txt'.

Interpreting the output is another matter.

:)

Seriously, that's such a broad question it approaches meaninglessness.

I don't know. After 6 pints, the access plans just make sense, man!

:-)
