DB2 delete performance

P: 1
Hi All!

I am trying to delete a set of 6 tables each having around 1,00,00,000 records. My question is which would be faster, deleting the records starting from parent table down to the child table or the other way around?

Please suggest.

I think if you are using the constraint like primary key -> foreign key, then casecade option is important. If you choose that option for on delete action then it will help.
