DB2 as a Web service consumer using SOAPHTTPV

P: 2
Hi,

We are a major Mainframe -COBOL-DB2 batch shop. We are trying to consume a web service outside our firewall for one of our batch streams. We are using SOAPHTTPV protocol to consume the web service. We are having some issues when we try to consume a web service that has https listener. It works fine with http protocols. Can anyone throw some light into additional procedures that need to be installed to consume https web services.

Thanks

Hi,

We are on Version 8. I am not sure about the maintenance level. We were told by IBM that they were working on a ptf to be delivered by Jan 2008 to support https.

Thanks
