Altering column's default in db2 V8

I'd like to change default of several columns from NULL to NOT NULL without dropping tables.

From SQL reference it seams possible, but I can't suceed
Can you help me please

don't have my DB2 reference at hand right now, but as far as I remember a "SET INTEGRITY FOR my.table OFF" before the ALTER TABLE should help. After that you'll have to turn on INTEGRITY again. This should be something like "SET INTEGRITY FOR my.table IMMEDIATE CHECKED FORCE GENERATED".
