Cursor Load

Hi,
I like to load data from one table in a database in a server into
another table in another database residing in another server. I like
to use cursor load. in that case.
1) Do i need to catalog the target database.
2) Can i do it online.

Any suggestions. This might be simple. I am new to this. Please help
me.

You 'll need nicknames (federation) for the target tables at the
source location (or vice versa) to be able to use cursors for this
kind of load. An easier option would be to export in 'ixf' or 'del'
format and ftp and then load.
