How to retrieve the field heading

Hi!

I beg you to give me a hand on the following issue.

I would like to know how could I read the field's heading (not the
field name) using standard SQL.

I created a new table and each field has its name, data type *and*
heading.

If I run a Select statement in native mode, every column has its
correct heading but if I run the Select statement from the iSeries
Acces for Windows, columns have the field's name instead of the
heading I wrote.

Which statement should I write to get the heading instead (or in
addition to) of the field name?
Any help will be very appreciated since we've lost some hours trying
to find it.

Sincerely,
Xavier
