Hi,
I wanted to know on which parameters does database capacity depend on?
Is it only dependent on the tablespaces size that i have allocated?
I am getting the following.
C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN>db2 call get_dbsize_info(?, ?, ?, 0)
Value of output parameters
--------------------------
Parameter Name : SNAPSHOTTIMESTAMP
Parameter Value : 2007-09-13-00.21.25.978868
Parameter Name : DATABASESIZE
Parameter Value : 40445849600
Parameter Name : DATABASECAPACITY
Parameter Value : 50768454132
Return Status = 0
Currently, the diff is around 10 GB and i have to create some more
schemas which might reduce the difference even further.
Will the database capacity be resolved and database capacity increased
if i extend the tablespaces?
Thanks a lot

Rahul
yes , i think by increasing the tablespaces you can increase the
capacity.
you can try with a sample DB first

Database capacity depends upon the DMS tablespace container size and
pagesize. In DMS the space is pre allocated.
