Main differences between DB2 v7 & v8 in a Z/OS env

1
Hi. I've just been seconded on to a project that is upgrading from v7 to v8 and have been asked to write a brief summary of the main points. Can any nice person on this forum help me out by pointing me in the right direction where I find this information online?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Colbow

P.S. Also, can you buy the DB2 Referrence and Summary Guides and if so, where from? I want this for my own benefit and the people I work for seem reluctant to order one for me.

Hi Colbow and welcome to TSDN,

The installation guide will provide much of the info you require including changes and comparisons with V7

also.. IBM have kindly begun to provide a number of manuals in pdf format FOC.. Have you tried searching the ibm website for DB2 manuals ?

Regards Purple
