SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019

Hi,
I tried to do ML_upgradation for aix server...but when db2 guys tried to start the service its ending up with error...i have pasted the error below..could anybody suggest me on this..pls

hpsinst@hps3602::/hpsinst> db2start
08/22/2007 17:06:41 0 0 SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred.
SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019

current db2level DB2 v8.1.1.128 and fixpack is 14
