load/import in db2

P: 8

I am trying to load the data from flat file to temp table in different ways.

import from 'c:\OCT SC REPORT TAKE 2.csv' into session.kfs_file;
load from 'c:\OCT SC REPORT TAKE 2.csv' of ASC insert into session.kfs_file;

But i am getting the error like this.
SQL1325N The remote database environment does not support the command or one of the command options.

can anybody help me on this...

Thanks in advance

If you are running the LOAD utility from a client machine then you need to specify the keyword CLIENT.
You can build your LOAD command around the following example:

Load CLIENT From /home/Data/datafile.dat of del Modified by COLDEL, UseDefaults Messages /home/log/datafile.err insert into koes.orders NONRECOVERABLE;

del - delimited
COLDEL specifies the column delimiter, the (,) comma following it is the delimiter. You can also specify hex values for delimiters.
insert - to append data. to replace use option 'replace'

Refer DB2 documentation (Data Movement Utilities) for more details on the LOAD command and its options.
