Disabling the DB2DETAILDEADLOCK event monitor

DB2 8.2 on AIX 5.3.

Please could someone tell me how to permanently disable the default
DB2DETAILDEADLOCK event monitor (also, so that it does not restart
when the instance is recycled).

If you do not want the detailed deadlocks event monitor, then the
event monitor can be dropped using the command:
DROP EVENT MONITOR db2detaildeadlock
