Problems with starting DB2 service on windows

Hi,

I have DB2 8.1 Express edition installed on windows 2003.

When I start DB2 service using 'db2start' or 'net start db2' I'm
getting error code: SQL1042C.
The DB2 service returns -1022 code.

Does anyone has seen something similar ?

Where can I find additional informations about DB2 service return
codes (haven't found anything on IBM page) ?

Regards,
Piotr

Hi,
Have you checked to see if you have a valid license using db2licm -l.
This error can occur when the try and buy license expires.

Also have you checked the db2diag.log for any error messages??
