Tables and Columns security in database db2

Hi all,

Currently, if someone has access to the database, they will be able to
view all the tables in the database.

We want to be able to set additional security for some other tables. So if
the person who has rights to access the database must require another
set of password in order to view the data in some table.

pls advise can security be set :
1) By tables.
2) By certain columns within the table. (E.g. in MT_EMPLOYEE_PY_RENUM
table, we have a column BASIC_SALARY, so only this column needs to have
added security.)

Thanking you

Regards
Narayan

Does anyone know of a good example for creating a access database and then tables within that database. All the examples I have found so far use a SQL database. Thanks, Ken
