WIN XP Pro SP2 Db2 V8 install/setup message invalid password

OS Win XP Pro SP2

I had to uninstall my db2 V8 because of WAS Commerce Server 6.0.2

I created an account with admin rights

Now went I try to install db2 V8 via the commerce Whiz installer at
set up time it keep telling me invalid password
Even if I try to install db2 V8 with the Was Commerce server Wiz it
will not recongines

I created an account with Admin rights can log into account with
password no problems.

For some reason the installer does not recognizes the password.
Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong or incorrect.

I reviewed the db2 installer and commerce installer logs nothing that
jump out at that say why..

I get a Win dialog box saying

password specified is in invalid, Please enter a valid password

If I enter the wrong id it know

So why does it not reconizes the password.

example
password redfrog123
id db2wsc

any ideas

Thank you in advance

Change the password to redfrog1 to see if it doesn't like >8
characters.
