That is true : however there are a couple of omissions I've noticed -

1) It isn't among the downloads offered for the 90-day trial V9 ESE

2) There don't seem to be fixpacks available for download for V9 (only for
*sunos* which I assume is SPARC, unless both are bundled inside one
tarball, but that would be daft). There does seem to have been a Fixpack
14 for V8 issued -

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/produc.../FP14_U810988/

3) There isn't an Express-C for this : I'd have thought this was a suitable
candidate alongside Linux and Windows.

The last one may be a policy decision : the others seem to be errors of some
sort.

You can run 32-bit applications under Sun/AMD64, but Sun on x86 (32-bit) is
not going to be supported.

This should be available soon (I don't have a date for you
unfortunately)

The initial release of v9 was at FP1 at the start of the year, FP2 was
not planned for Sun/AMD64.
Future fixpaks will be available as on other platforms.

In a similar vein, for v8 the initial release on Sun/AMD64 was at FP11
and fixpaks start at FP14.
