DDL

Hi,

I would like to create a data model with a DDL file, is it possible and do
you know so software could do that.

To "reverse engineer" DDL from an existing database use db2look.

To produce DDL from a data model take a look at the Rational Toolset
(e.g. Rational App Developer).

It depends on the data-modelling tool that you are using.
The Computer-Associates "Erwin" product can reverse-engineer a
physical data model from a DDL file.
Also the Embarcadero "ER/Studio" has this capability.
Other modelling tools may also have this capability.
At worst, you can create a database using the DDL, and even tools like
Visio have some ability to reverse-engineer a diagram from a connected
database.
