HADR and container paths

9
DB2 v9.1 (fixpak 2) on Windows

I am currently trying to move our primary database to a faster server. I am also trying to set it up on HADR (where the standby will also be on a new, faster server). We are a 24/7 shop, and I was hoping to avoid an outage. I was hoping to set up HADR from the current server to the new server. Once that was done, I was hoping to switch roles, turn off HADR, and then turn it back on again with the primary database on the new production server and the standby on the new standby server. I thought this would keep the database active at all times.

Here is what my issue is...
The database currently has containers on multiple disk drives. The new server only has one disk drive, and we do not wish to partition it, nor do we want to add other drives. I was pretty sure it wouldn't work, but I tried anyway to map a disk drive back to the main drive (i.e. map f:\ to c:\). Windows lets me do this, but DB2 did not recognize the container path when I was doing a restore. Does anyone know a way that I would be able to accomplish this with no down time?

Thanks in advanced for any help,
Dan
