To Knut about DB2 V7 Fixpak FP2_21246

Knut,
I lost your response to me about my DB2 V7 and the problem I had with
missing FP2_WR21246 - but I remember the gist of what you said.

SERIOUS mistake on my part and I thankyou kindly for your help which
did solve my problem(s) - there is a place in Tools where one states a
delimiter character which, clearly, I set up many years ago, once
only, so of course I forgot.

Moving to DB V8 or V9 on my new XP Pro laptop are not options for me.
Staying with NT is obligatory. Simple fact is that my VisualAge Cobol
2.2 does not work (is actually destructive) when installed on XP. So
I have NT installed as a guest on my XP machine with Microsoft's
Virtual PC as the intermediary. I put DB2 V9.1 on the XP side and it
seems rather healthy.

Upgrading COBOL is not an option either. The original 1998 package of
COBOL/CICS for $2000 has probably gone to an astrononomical figure for
me - is called IBM Websphere Developer for System z V7.0, contains a
million components of which I need only ONE the COBOL compiler - sad
eh!

Gleaned from your reply also - I need only apply FP7 and FP14 to have
the latest and greatest in V7?

Again thanks for the help.
Graham

If you have V7.1 FP2, you must first install FP3 (to upgrade to V7.2)
and then install FP14.
