Web Service call from DB2 stored procedure

Hi All,

Is it possible to write a DB2 stored procedure in JAVA that can call a
Web Service?
We are using DB2 UDB Version 8. Do we need any additional packages/fix
packs to existing version?

Thanks in advance,
chaiku.

See this documentation for information about using the Web Services
wrapper in v8 to make a web service look like a table:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...t/clswss07.htm

Then Stored Procedures written in any language can access them using a
SELECT statement.

Hope that helps,

-Harold
