I'm currently on DB2 8.1 fixpack 10 for AIX
When I do a simple "explain plan for select <colnamefrom <table>
with ur", I get:-
DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was
not a
valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it
returned:
SQL0804N The application program parameters for the current request
are not
valid. Reason code "". If a host variable or SQLVAR in the SQLDA is
invalid
then: host variable/SQLVAR number = "", SQLTYPE = "", SQLLEN = "",
host
variable/SQLVAR type = "". SQLSTATE=07002
When I do a virtually identical query but choose a different column in
the table (with the same datatype, length and scale), it works fine.
This isn't a one-off, about 15% of the sql statements that I've tried
are failing.
