syntax error when creating text index

P: n/a

Hi all,

I have successfully installed DB2 Net Search Extender.

DB2Ext is up and running, I've run successfully this command:

db2text ENABLE DATABASE FOR TEXT CONNECT TO TEST1;

but when I try to execute this statement:

create index index_name_test123 for text on modules (description)
format xml connect to test1;

I have syntax error - "for" is unexpected.

I know that DB2 Net Search Extender is present because before
installation when I executed this statement:

select * from modules where contains (description, 'sections
("/module/description") "ERS" ') = 1

i received a message: Net Search Extender is not installed or not
configured for this instance

now after executing I receive a message saying that there is no text
index for description

so my question is how to create text index?

thanks in advance
best regards
Ɓukasz
