Mixing single partition and multi partition databases in the same instance

Have you seen any significant performance issues mixing single
partition and multi partition databases in the same instance. If so
could you please share your experience on this.

You can't. An instance is either partitioned or it is not. All
databases within the instance are therefore partitioned or not.

With that said, you can create a database in a partitioned instance
and then alter the nodegroups (except for IBMTEMPGROUP) in that database
such that all data lives on 1 partition.

However, why you'd want to do this (as opposed to just creating a
second instance with only 1 partition) is beyond me.
