"CATALOG DB" or "CATALOG DCS DB" for access DB2/400?

Hi folks,

I used the following CLP commands to access DB2/400 in AIX 5L/DB2 EE,
and it works.

CATALOG TCPIP NODE AS400 REMOTE 192.168.10.51 SERVER 446 SYSTEM
PROD400 OSTYPE OS400

CATALOG DB PROD400 AT NODE AS400 AUTHENTICATION SERVER

My question is, when will need to "CATALOG DCS DB" for access DB2/400?
And what's difference between "CATALOG DB" and "CATALOG DCS DB"?
Thanks in advance,

Laurence
