SYSPROC.ALTOBJ() does not copy DB2 comments over?

aj
DB2 LUW 8.2 FP14 Red Hat AS 2.1

Looks like SYSPROC.ALTOBJ() doesn't copy table and column comments over?

Shouldn't it?

Yes, I know. I can use ALTOBJ() to create a script, dump it to a text
file, add the "COMMENT ON..." statements myself, then execute it.

But doesn't copying the comments seem like something that should happen
all the time anyways? Why would you want to lose comments?

Bug?

TIA

Depends on your point of view. I would agree though.
