how can i browse a db2 file?

Hi, I have a couple of .db2 files and I'm wondering how I can view
their contents--maybe there's a program I can download? I've never
worked with ibm stuff, only mysql.

Most likely this file has nothing to do with DB2. Check this link for
info about the db2 file extension:

If it is DB2 after all then it's likely an SQL script. That is a regular
editor (vi) will do.

Has nothing to do with IBM's DB2 database product. As alreaady noted, it is
probably a dBASE II file.

On Unix/Linux you can use vi or more (Unix) or less (Linux). On Windows
something more robust than Notepad will work: Crimson Editor is my
suggestion though there are a ton of other ones out there.
