Hi All,
I am trying to compile some embedded SQL using the SQLJ in DB2
environment. My setup is as follows.
1) Fedora Core 5
2)IBM DB2 V8.2
I installed both the client/admin tools in the DB2 and created data
base instance. I am able sucessfully play with the DB2 related
commands.
Now while running the sqlj command, I get an error as follows ( both
sqlj mytestfile.sqlj and sqlj --help)
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
sqlj.framework.ClassFileReader"
In my CLASSPATH, the sqlj.zip is referenced correctly and I can see the
ClassFileReader.class file in sqlj.framework. Moreover to confirm. when
I remove the sqlj.zip file in CLASSPATH, I get a different
ClassNotFoundError, which means my sqlj.zip path is correct. In
addition sqlj.zip, I have "db2java.zip", "db2jcc.jar",
"db2jcc_license_cu.jar" are there in CLASSPATH.
So, what I am missing here. Do I need to install anything else to use
sqlj.
Please help.
Thanks
Shibu
