hey everyone:
I want to know if its possible to encrypt specific fields on DB2 7.1 running on ZOS 1.6? If yes, how?

ENCRYPT fields came with version 8 I believe

yes you can encrypt specific fields on DB2 7.1 running on ZOS 1.6 via fieldproc or udf. 3rd party tools support these options.
